The life of a hunter is not always their own in the wild. There are times between hunts that a Giantslayer must rest, recuperate, and revel in the grandeur of tall tales well-told by their fellow hunters; and perhaps regaling others with their own. Many dream of constructing a communal gathering place, combining domicile, vault, and personal tavern open to any member of the Order of the Giantslayers. There, great trophies and objects of renown might be put on display as a testament to a hunter's legendary skill and prodigious ego.For example, the mounted head of a rare white lion, the excised wandering eye of a cyclops, or the pieced- together skeleton of an enormous Gruntbuggly Matriarch(which their Giantslayer brethren insist is an utterly mythical creature that can’t possibly exist) are sought after prizes, hunters of the Order of the Giantslayers covet to display in their own lodge![1]
