Corruption score (corruption value) tracks the aggregate amount of player corruption a character has accumulated due to the PvP flagging system.[1]
- A player’s corruption score increases with each non-combatant player killed.[1][2][3] The wider the level disparity between the players, and the higher the attacker's PK value, the more corruption they gain.[1][2][3]
- Corruption score has a scaling impact on the efficacy of a character's skills in PvP combat.[4] The higher the corruption score, the more corruption penalties are gained.[5]
- Dying removes a significant portion of a player's corruption score.[6]
- A quest may be utilized to reduce the player kill (PK) count of a corrupt player in order for them to accumulate less corruption score in the future.[7][6]
